WISCONSIN'S
FIRST MIXED JURY
On September 3, 2008,
in
recognition of Juror Appreciation month, the Waukesha County Bar
Association presented a framed photograph of the first jury in
Wisconsin that included women to Clerk of Courts Carolyn Evenson.
The event was also attended by Chief
Justice Shirley Abrahamson, Wisconsin Bar Association President Diane
Diehl, WCBA President Dan Haback, Judge Jim Kieffer, County Board Chair
Jim Dwyer, and County Executive Dan Vrakas.
