A Word From Your President

Dear Members:

A year ago when I wrote the first of these letters, I joked that one of the big issues facing us was the uncertainty over Brett Favre.  Not much has changed; Brett still is not sure what he is going to do this year, and there have been no great or sweeping changes to the business of the Waukesha County Bar Association.

The Association was in good shape based on the hard work of my predecessors and as I leave we are in the same solid position.  We spent the last year looking for ways to grow and for events that would benefit the membership and improve the Association.  What we did not have was much input from the membership.

So now I will again call out for any new ideas or initiatives that the members think are appropriate.  I would especially encourage your input now as it will be Doug Swanson's job to follow up on them.

I enjoyed my time with the Bar Association, and as President specifically.  Best wishes to all of you.

Very truly yours,

Dan Habeck
