A Word From
Your President
Dear Fellow Members:
Happy New Year!
Can you believe the Packers are going to the Super Bowl?
We had a great
turnout at the Judge's Update Luncheon on January 10, 2011. Thank you
to all of our judges who were able to take time out of their day to
attend that event and to all of our members who joined us.
The support
staff luncheon is our next event on February 8, 2011, at the Country
Springs Hotel. Comedian Fred Klett will be our entertainment that day.
Some of you may know him from his appearances on WKLH. Reservations and
payments are due by January 31, 2011. The price for any current member
and one guest is just $15.00-now that is a deal. You can find the
reservation form on the Waukesha County Bar Association website.
We are now
seeking nominations for the Waukesha County Bar Association Annual
Awards. Nominations can be submitted in three categories: Lifetime
Achievement, Community Service and Distinguished Member. Nominations
will be accepted through February 15, 2011. Honorees will be announced
in the next Scriptus. You can find more information on the awards and
the nomination form on the website: www.waukeshabar.org.
The Annual
Awards Dinner is scheduled for Saturday, April 9, 2011. Please mark
your calendars now so you can attend this event and support our
honorees.
As always if you
have any questions or if there is any way that your Bar Association can
better serve you, please feel free to contact me.
Go Packers!
